Carpenter Street Saloon is a staple of St. Michaels. We've entertained dignitaries, celebrities, politicians..You name it! C-Street, as we're affectionately called, prides itself in being the best dive bar ... well, anywhere! We have great live, local music a few nights a week. Cstreet also has a fascinating history. In 1887 Henry Clay Dodson, the town pharmacist & brickyard owner, erected this first commercial structure in St. Michaels. Between 1920 and 1963, Dodson Drugstore was occupied by a bank. During this time, a vault constructed of 3 foot reinforced concrete was erected in the building. The vault door is operational and is currently used as an office
