About Us
The Rotary Club of St. Michaels is one of 34,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide. A proud member of Rotary District 7630, we've been active in the St. Michaels and greater Bay Hundred community for 77 years.
St. Michaels Rotarians meet for breakfast every Wednesday at the Miles River Yacht Club. Our doors open at 7:30 a.m. for a 8:00 program start, and guests, visiting Rotarians and potential new members are very much welcome to join us.
Youth programs are a particular passion of ours, and every year we grant $25,000 in scholarships to graduates of St. Michaels High School.
In 2015, we chartered St. Michaels's first Interact Club and inducted its inaugural board. We cherish our partnership with these young, Rotarians-to-be and support them as part of our annual agenda.
The Rotary Club of St. Michaels meets weekly for breakfast at the Miles River Yacht Club. We're delighted to welcome guest speakers like those below on the second, third and fourth Wednesday of each month. And we always have an open door for guests, visiting Rotarians and anyone interested in becoming a member of our club.
Rotary International's motto is ''Service Above Self,'' and we try to live by it.
If you're familiar with the area, you may already know that our Rotary Club helped build the St. Michaels Nature Trail and helps to maintain it on an ongoing basis. You may also spot us along the sides of the St. Michaels-Tilghman Island Highway helping to keep our roadways and unique environment clean.
