Tilghman Island is home to many unique water based activities ranging from narrated historical cruises on a national historical landmark aboard the oldest working skipjack on the Chesapeake Bay.

Let's Get Your Day Started!
First Stop:
Visit Phillips Wharf Environmental Center, an interactive educational complex, offering visitors a peek into the aquatic wonders of the Chesapeake Bay. Immerse yourself in the rich history of the ecology and fisheries of the Chesapeake Bay.
Second Stop:
Hop on one of the areas boating excursions, from educational skipjack voyages on an historical landmark, fishing on a charterboat, or a relaxing on a romantic sailing cruise, you're sure to enjoy your time on the water, whatever your choice.
Third Stop:
Enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choice, either along the water, or one of the cafes in town offering delightful fare. There are many outstanding places to choose, featuring local regional seafood dishes and of course, Maryland Blue Crabs!
Fourth Stop:
Rent a kayak or a canoe and follow the shorelines along the creeks to catch glimpes of waterfowl, fish and maybe even a dolphin!
Fifth Stop:
Rent a bike, and meander around the island, with little vehicle traffic to worry about, biking along Tilghman Island is a wonderful chance to get out on the road, be sure to check out our water and bike trails.
Sixth Stop:
Enjoy dinner at a restaurant of your choice, with so many top rated restaurants to choose from, you'll want to stay another day....or two, to try them all!
